The color wheel is a circular shape divided into 12 equal sections with areas representing different colors based on the hue value which helps us analyze colours.
1- Primary colours: They are red, yellow and blue on the color wheel, and cannot be obtained by mixing. They are generally used with another primary color or alone, or with lighter shades of other primary colors in decor.
2- Medium colours: These are the colors that are obtained by mixing primary colors. Purple is obtained by mixing red and blue, green is obtained by mixing yellow and blue, and orange is obtained by mixing red and yellow. Just like other colors, they offer a rich range in decoration by using them in combination with each other's shades.
3- Contrasting colors: These are colors that match each other (complementary colors) on the color wheel. Because contrasting colors enhance each other's effect when used together, they provide the highest contrast effect with their vibrant, bright appearance. Contrasting color combinations of red, green, yellow, violet, blue and orange also have a great complementary effect. Hence they are also called complementary colors.
Imagine how boring life would be if everything around you was grey. Although we cannot touch the unique color of nature, we can use colors to reflect our personality. The colors of the flowers we plant in our garden, the colors of the clothes we wear, and the colors of the walls of our homes; They all reflect our personality. When you start adding color to your home, first look at all the colors around you. If you think you live in a colorless environment, don't just think about large surfaces. Watch the small details such as accessories, tables and chairs and thus notice the appearance of the rainbow.
